After reflecting on the key points from the feedback I got I have decide that the targets I will need to complete are:
1) Make the title sequence more clear as our description of the title sequence was not clear enough and had a lot of people confused.
2) Integrate the target audience into our pitch as that was missing
3) Organise the location and the equipment needed to do the shoot as well as integrating our storyboard into the production timeline.

sound (PITCH)
We used GarageBand to produce this song for our opening scene. This sound is called Step Thumping Beat and i think this song will go well in the background because creates the feeling of suspense and that something bad is about to happen. This song will be played low in the background as we want the diegetic sound of James Bolton's breathing, the sound of outside and the running footsteps to be heard clearly. The song will not be continuous in the opening sequence and will stop when James enters the house.
However the Synchronous and Diegetic Sound of footsteps and breathing will still continue through the opening to create realism in the scene.

Our group also decided to incorporate Foley sound of the a cracked screen generally because we don't intend to crack the screen. This idea was taken from Beyonce's VMA 2016 performance where she hits the camera lenses with the bat. Our idea is similar, however our prop is a golf club rather than a bat
Title Credits
-Font for the Characters: Orca White 80 - This was used because it correlates perfectly with our genre
-Font for the Title: Hobo Black 75 - This is very bold and stands out and will be presented before the action of the title sequence begins
Institutional Detail
- Our film will be independent because we do not have a huge budget and we are also using an ident created by us which will be a low budget company that specialises in action movies similar to Universal Pictures and New Line Cinema. As we are making our own ident we have no history of distribution, however if we were to have produced movies they would be movies such as Bourne Ultimatum and other action movies of that nature.
-The ownership decides how discrete or apparent the titles and credits are such as an ownership which funds the production very highly would give very apparent title credits because it has the funds to promote the characters. However we have to chosen to go for a more discrete presentation of our titles and credits because it ca easily blend in with our title sequence and our funding is not high.

Genre/ Sub- genre of our film title sequence (PITCH)
Our Chosen Genre
Our chosen Genre of our film is Action/ Thriller.
We chose this genre genre as it was what our group members genre preference. Additionally, Action/Thriller codes and conventions creates excitement & tensions and can easily grab the audiences attention to the film.
Codes and Coventions
The codes and convention of action/thriller films can be worked with easily when creating a title sequence. Our title sequences involves fast pace, changes in angels of shots, tension, dull lighting, chasing scenes and weapons. Here are some of the main Codes and Conventions.
Our Film Genre was inlfuenced by the film 'Bourne Ultimatum' as it demonstrates most of the codes and conventions in an Action/Thriller film. The film also brings suspension.

STORYBOARD
our storyboard was drawn briefly by Jake and he illustrates different shots including close ups and long shots of body parts and locations. The use of different camera angles is the codes and conventions of Action/Thriller films.
The title sequence introduces three different locations before the character appears.
The shots will start off in a slow pace then increases quickly to emphasise the suspense to the audience.

blog post 26 - ident creation
From the appearance of my ident, which contains dark and intensive effects, it signifies that it is associated with action, thriller and drama films.
Task 26: Ident Creation
My ident has a strong identity because it is a memorable animal and the name is related to the image seen. It is very dark and fierce so it would usually be associated with a horror, thriller or action movie. Movies like the Bourne Ultimatum and inception would be associated with my company. My ident design is plain but is memorable. My ident does not covey a distinctive ideology rather it just gives the audience the idea that the movie they are about to watch is about something dark or thrilling.
32
companies that are most likely to produce films similar to ours:
1. Lionsgate
Lionsgate produce movies such as thrillers, horrors and a little more daring films.
2.metro goldwyn mayer
this company tends to produce more action type films but as we have a high element of action they may look to produce our movie

Distribution- New Line Cinema
New Line Cinema (founded by Robert Shaye, Michael Lynne in 1967) was a distribution company but became an Independent film studio. New Line transformed into a unit of Warner Bros. Entertainment in March 2008. New Line Company is known for producing a range of genre films including comedy, romance, horror, fantasy and drama. However, they are popular when it comes to producing action and thriller films.
They've produced popular films including The Mask, Rush Hour, The Conjuring, The Hobbit and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. New Line’s 2016 release slate, distributed by Warner Bros., includes How to Be Single, Me Before You, Barbershop: The Next Cut, Keanu, Going in Style, The Conjuring 2, Central Intelligence and Lights Out.

The Conjuring (Horror) was released in 2013. This movie earned more than $570 million in global box office and had the high grossing opening weekend ever for an original horror film.

Rush Hour (Thriller/Action) was released in 1998 and directed by Breet Ratner. The budget for Rush Hour was $38 million.

The Mask (Fantasy/Action) was released in 1994 and directed by Chuck Russell. The movie had the budget of $18 million.
Task 32: Distribution
The company that is usually associated with making action movies is Universal Studios. This studio is very main stream and has a large budget. Even though this budget is not available to us it coincides perfectly with the genre we want to go with. Other Films that are associated with this studio is:
Jason Bourne:

Fast & Furious 7:

Blog task 32-distribution
I think lionsgate would be a good ident which would suit our film idea because of the intense music and build up of the video but also their history of action thrillers for example abduction.
This is also very mainstream meaning that our movie would need a huge budget.
Task 11 & 20: Research to decide on your target audience
After collecting our research, we decided that our target audience would be on men from the ages 15 and over. We challenged the expected target audience of our genre because we felt that our film would attract younger generation men rather than the older generation. We believe that the codes and conventions as well as the social groups in our film would be attractive to young teenage boys
Analysis of the micro and macro conventions of your genre-with conclusions
To be able to understand our movie genre we decided to look at a movie with a similar genre and analyse the macro and micro features
