Day 1 Filming (Review)

On the first day of our shooting, the weather was satisfying, despite the cold temperature. Once we reached our location (The barbican), we already knew where we were planning to shoot our title sequence. There was enough space for the chase scene and we managed to find a dead end for the ending of the opening sequence. When we switched on the camera, we struggled to focus the camera so this produced blurry shots.
We also had a first trial at using the Go-Pro and we enjoyed using it.
the casts were reliable and they cooperated well in the shots.
As the director, i enjoyed filming different shots from different angels. I was also vey harsh and demanding whilst filming as the actors kept making mistakes. This means that we kept repeating the same scene numerous times until it was satisfying. My favourite shots were filming over the shoulder and the feet shot. due to the temperature outside, it was hard for me to keep still when holding the camera.
Next filming, our group are planning to bring the tripod to make it easier for us to get a still shot. Overall, i enjoyed the whole day and i'm excited for the next filming as well as editing.

Using the Go-Pro for the first time

Feet shot was my favourite shot because i didn't have to hold the camera and it gives a different point of view.

A bit of fun during our shooting.
