Revisiting our film idea

Go pro:
We are deciding to use a Go-Pro as this will help us to film the scene when our main character is running and when he falls onto the floor from his perspective. This idea allows the audience to experience what the main character is going through. For example when he gets hit by the golf club. This idea was taken from Beyonce's vma performance.

Location:
Our former idea we had in our title sequence was for our main character to be chased into a house. Despite this brilliant idea, our group are unable to pursue it as we haven't found a house to use. Alternatively, we changed our idea of location to a dead end in the Barbican. I believe this will be more effective to our title sequence as it will create a more action feel to it and the cliche of running into an action.

This is an example we have taking from the film suicide squad of a scene in an alley way. This gave us the idea that problems occur in an alleyways and when there's a dead end.

Changes to format of the title sequence ( black screen):

In our pitch, we discovered that the length of our title sequence was too short. Therefore, we've decided to incorporate black screen  with the credits to expand the length. Overall, we have made a change from integrating our title credits with the action to using black screen. Additionally, we will add more shots in the running scene to create more tension.

Change to the storyboard ( at the end):
The changes that we've made to our opening sequence will help the audience get a clue of what will happen throughout the entire film. During our pitch, some of our media students did not understand what our title sequence was about. For that reason, we decided to include a card as a hint to the audience. This card will be King of Clubs and this indicates that he is representing a kingpin.
