Analysis of Film Title Sequence- Kill Bill Vol 1

The beginning of the Title sequence starts off with a close up of a female actor on the floor, bloodied and bruised on the face.This opening creates suspense yet it is still intriguing as it makes the audience wonder what what is going on. Tension suddenly arises when the character is shot after she says "it's your baby" as the screen turns black for a couple of seconds.The audience is then introduced to dramatic music and the credits. I love this as it gives the audience a shocking reaction because everything happens so rapidly. The credits are presented very boldly and the way it suddenly appears matches the beat of the music ,which is eye- catching. The credits are also accompanied by pictures of the other actors with their names as well as bloody special effects. The special effects of blood reveals the genre of film as blood is associated with action or thriller. The colours are both bright and dark(yellow, black and red) to make it appear more dramatic and exciting. In the end of the sequence, we see a close up of a someone holding a sword, which gives a suspicion that the sword is a major symbol throughout the film.
