SINISTER
the macro elements- the story line will revolve around death as we can clearly see people being hung in the opening scene , key themes will be mystery and death as we cannot see who's doing this(cutting the branch of the tree). characters will most likely be a family due to the victims in the opening and the plot will be some kind of attack on this family.
micro- the sound is the sound of a tape recorder trying to play a tape which links with the theme of the filming. the mise-en-scene is the tree being cut and what looks like a family being hung. however we are not allowed to see who is doing it

AMERICAN HORROR STORY
macro; the storyline looks to be psychopathic due to the obsession we can see through the dolls etc.
the key themes again will be psychopathic horror perhaps due to someone's psychotics we will see a lot of messed up things such as these distorted dolls.
the mise-en-scene is just darkness will little horrific elements making there way into the screen such as blood darkness and these dolls. we can hear a deep tone playing continuously throughout the sequence with sharp tones flashing throughout sounding like interception
SCREAM
we know that the storyline again is going to be psychopathic and not supernatural due to elements of the opening such as a doll with drawings all over the face of it, the key themes will be murder and perhaps watching as we see things such as a rocking chair with no one on it which could suggest that someone has moved it but we cant see who they are which shows secret observation. the plot may be a stalker or someone trying to attack a person therefore they watch them.
the mise-en-scene is title credits coming up on the screen and then shaking and disappearing off of the scree this vibrating of the credits suggests instability and we are shown some but little elements of horror. the sound is just sinister music that sounds so eerie, so happy its scary.
